ATT good customer support, but strange bill
I ended up with a weird "One Time Charge - No Tax" $50.00 charge on my latest ATT bill. After calling, I got through eventually to a very nice customer care representative, who then was able to reverse it and was equally mystified as to what was going on.

When I was there, I decided to get rid of Roadside Assistance as well. If you are on ATT and are not being careful, you are losing $36 a year.

Oh well for the joys of opt out automatic signing up for deals you never wanted.

I called my bank the other to transfer money to another country. Let's say $1000. That costs $20. On my remark that it was cheaper last time I did it they said there are different price brackets. Turns out $1000 was exactly on the border. So I transferred $999 and saved $10.
The customer care guy didn't even understand why I suddenly wanted to transfer less! He had no incentive to help me (commission??). Quite sad.
I still don't know why they even charge more... I mean it's shifting numbers around from bank to bank. Why would it cost more if the number if higher?

Do you know how many million ATT customers did *not* call about that $50.
Yeah, think about that for a minute!
